Broccoli-Basil Mac & Cheese
Jaw dropped. Followed by uncontrollable salivation. Recipe (from 101 Cookbooks)… I’d consider make this with delicate squash (skin on) next time, to cut the prep-time on the squash. Play around with the cheese blend if it’s more convenient for you -Anna’s recipe calls for Cheddar and Manchego, but I always have gruyere on hand, so I swapped that in. 1 small butternut,...

Galapagos & Peru Expedition
Did you know that National Geographic takes people on expeditions? Wait Wait ...Don't Tell Me gets its own TV show! →

Volver de Almodovar
I think it was Volver or Mala Educacion when I solidified my infatuation with Almodovar. The bright pop of saturated colors, the askew characters, and the constant mysterious what-gender-is-he/she air floating above the curtains, it seemed to be an awesome world. Minus the dead bodies. Unless they were bodies of pervy husbands. Or it could have been my study abroad time in Granada, Spain...

Who wants to knit? →
I’ve always wanted to knit and I should! Considering how much downtime I have on the bus when I’m going to and fro. Craftivore has instructional videos and lots of beginners’ patterns in this crash course package. On top of that, the founder has a super-inspiring story of how this all started.
